Veriod is a service for creating digital badges based on the so-called micro-credentialing service (hereafter ''the service"). The service is available in accordance with the following terms. By registering on the platform Veriod (hereafter Veriod) the user gives hir consent to be bound by the Terms of Service. Veriod reserves the right to update the Terms of Service at any time at its sole discretion. The user can check the current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this website.

There are these points included into the Terms of Use: 1) privacy policy, posted on the, 2) licensing agreement for end users of Veriod widget.


Based on your compliance with all terms of service grants you Veriod non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited license to access and use services.


(A) Due to its nature - the granting of a personal recommendation - the service is fully available only to registered users . When signing up, you agree that you: (1) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as described in the registration form (hereafter "registration data") and (2) maintain and quickly update your registration data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, or if Veriod will have any reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, your account may be suspended or terminated completely. As a consequence, you will be denied access to the service.

(B) Instead of registering to the service, you can connect to the service using credentials associated with your account for third party services such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or G+ (collectively, "third party services"). If you decide to log in with an account of a third party service, you allow Veriod: (1) to have access to certain information, which will be made available through third party services, (2) contact you via e-mail address associated with the third party service, and ( 3) to update and expand statuses, notes, photos, videos and other materials on your behalf in the context of third party services in accordance with authorization you give to the Veriod platform. You acknowledge that all terms od use, principles and guidelines laid down by the third party services relate also to the use of the Veriod account.

(C) You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must not share your account or password with anyone else. You are obligated to notify Veriod immediately in case of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security.

(D) You confirm that you are: over the age of six years (6). In case you are under age 18, you acknowledge that the registration to the service took place with knowledge of legal representatives and that they have read these Terms of use and agreed with them.


(A) Users of the service can create and publish micro-confirmation in the form of digital badges based on criteria set by the user. The user becomes the „publisher“ in this case. You acknowledge and agree that the publisher of badges ( hereafter "publisher"), is fully responsible for criteria for issuing a certificate and any dispute relating to issuing or receipt of certificates must be resolved solely between the publisher and the person receiving a certificatge ("holder").

(B) It should be understood that Veriod has no role in determining the value or veracity of the certificate. Veriod does not approve the publisher and it is not liable for qualification of any publisher or holder. You agree and acknowledge that you are solely responsible for determining the value and veracity of all certificates and you must assess qualifications of each publisher and holder yourself.


(A) In some cases Veriod can offer to users an opportunity to get so called verified account. To get a verified account the user must meet the requirements set by the Veriod platform. A user aspiring to obtain a verified account claims and guarantees that all information provided is accurate, current and complete.

(B) Veriod indicates so called verified accounts so that users get to know publishers who have submitted the information requested by Veriod for verification purposes. However, Veriod does not guarantee that any account owner, whether verified or not verified, is the person he claimed to be in the registration.


(A) You acknowledge that the person who creates all information, data, texts, sounds, photos, videos, reports, labels and / or other materials which are available through the service, whether publicly posted or hidden to other users (hereafter "content"), is solely responsible for this content.

(B) You acknowledge that Veriod has no obligation to control the content of users' accounts / profiles. However, Veriod reserves the right to refuse or remove any content in its sole discretion.


(A) Veriod does not claim ownership of the content. However, the user grants the service Veriod his perpetual, worldwide, free, nonexclusive, sublicensable, nontransferable license to use, copy, translate, distribute, reproduce, modify, publicly show and publicly display the content in connection with the service.

(B) You understand that the technical processing and transmission of data associated with the Veriod service is dependent on the quality of your internet connection.

(C) You must not (and also must not allow any third party to): (1) copy, modify, create derivative works from used service. By this it is primarily ment the ban to decode, reversely analyze and compile the source code of the service, or otherwise attempt to determine the source code; (2) sell, transfer, or sublicense or otherwise transfer to third parties any right of the service (3) attempt to analyze content of the service (primarily the Veriod website) or architecture of the service using robots or other means.

(D) If you decide to provide the Veriod service operator with any suggestions, comments, ideas, improvements, or other feedback regarding the service (collectively "submissions"), you accept that the operator can freely use, publish, reproduce, modify, and otherwise these submissions for his needs.

(E) Veriod - name and logo are trademarks and service marks (hereafter "Veriod marks"). You agree not to display or use Veriod marks in any manner without prior written consent. These terms do not grant a license or authorization to use any Veriod marks.


In connection with your use of this service, you will not:

(A) record, transmit or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, defamatory, bothering, abusive, vulgar, pornographic, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable,

(B) persecute or otherwise bother another user;

(C) impersonate any person or entity, including personnel of the Veriod service, or misrepresent or otherwise distort your relationship with a person or an entity that a user has registered or is being registered;

(D) create bulk accounts or overload the service and prevent its legitimate use by other users;

(E) forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the service;

(F) upload, transmit through the service or otherwise make available any content for which you do not have the right to make it available - for example, to publish personal data of other persons and confidential information of persons and organizations;

(G) upload, transmit through the service or otherwise make available any content that violates any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party;

(H) upload, transmit through the service or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, send spam;

(I) issue unsolicited certificates in bulk or continue to issue certificates in cases when the user asks to not receive further certificates;

(J) send, display or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or other harmful computer code;

(K) interfere with the service or disrupt the service or activity of the servers or networks connected to the service; intentionally or unintentionally restrict and violate security of the service;

(L) intentionally or unintentionally violate any valid local, state, national or international law or regulation;

(M) use robots or other devices to access the service, download content of the service in bulk, copy or archive any part of the service;

(N) reproduce, copy, sell or exploit any part of the service for commercial purposes,


Use of the basic functions of the platform is free. If you purchase additional services that Veriod offers for a fee, either a lump sum or through an annual subscription ("PRO Plans"), you agree that you will pay the fees when due. Non-payment or late payment of the fees may lead to suspension of additional services and extra functions or to complete cancellation of your account.


You agree that the Veriod platform operator or his representative may request reimbursement of costs or compensation in the event of a legal dispute as a result of a breach of these Terms of Use, when (a) content unauthorized by the service has been uploaded or otherwise distributed; (b) your use of the service was in conflict with these terms, (c) you have breached these Terms of Use, or (d) you have violated any rights of another party when using the service.


Veriod reserves the right to change or cancel, temporarily or permanently, the services provided (or their parts). You agree that Veriod is not liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or interruption of the service. You acknowledge that the Veriod platform operator is not obligated to provide you with support, provide software updates, respond to changes in browsers and other technical changes.


(A) You agree that Veriod may, under certain circumstances, terminate your account or access to the service immediately and without notice. The reasons for such termination include: (1) any breach or violation of the Terms or other incorporated agreements, guidelines or rules for use of the service, (2) in case of a request or order issued by the court or in case of law enforcement to other government agencies or institutions (3) custom application of the user (e.g. of initiative of the organization for which the account was created), (4) interruptions or major changes to services, (5) unexpected technical or security problems, (6) longer period of account inactivity; (7) your engagement in fraudulent or illegal activities, and (8) your inability to pay the fees of PRO plans Veriod, if they were negotiated. You agree that all terminations are carried at Veriod discretion and the Veriod platform operator shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your account.

(B) In addition to § 12 (a) applies also that if you have access to the service with a free account, you agree that Veriod may terminate your account for any reason or without giving a reason after ten (10) days of prior written notice to the e-mail, under which the account is registered.


The service may be provided via websites and electronic systems of third parties. You acknowledge and agree that Veriod is not responsible for the availability of such external websites or sources, and is not responsible for the content, advertising, products and services available through such websites or sources. You further acknowledge and agree that Veriod is not directly or indirectly liable for any damage or loss caused by or resulting from the use of or reliance on external sites and sources using any tool, despite being developed or provided by the Veriod service.



(B) The Veriod platform operator GIVES NO WARRANTY THAT: (1) the service will meet your requirements, (2) the service will be uninterrupted, without delays, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, (3) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED USING THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE ; (4) the content available THROUGH the service is of a certain quality, accurate, current or complete; (5) THAT ALL ERRORS will be corrected in the service.

(C) Any material downloaded or otherwise accessed via the Veriod service is usable AT YOUR OWN RISK, and by using it your take the sole responsibility for any damages, including the risk of damage to your computer system or any device you use to access the service or risk of any other loss that results from access to such materials.


(A) You acknowledge and agree that the Veriod platform operator IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, monetary or non-monetary damages, INCLUDING DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOST PROFITS, DAMAGE TO GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER LOSS, THAT YOU WERE WARNED ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM (1) the use of or inability to use the service, (2) acting of other users of the Veriod platform.

(B) You understand and agree that under no circumstances the Veriod platform operator is not responsible for the content uploaded by users.

(C) Veriod assumes no responsibility for topicality, data retention or not non-deposition of any content, including user generated content.


(A) Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Veriod platform operator regarding your use of the service, which replaces all prior or contemporary agreements between you and the Veriod platform operator regarding the subject of this agreement.

(B) You may not assign or transfer rights or obligations under the Terms without prior written consent of the Veriod service. Veriod may assign or transfer rights or obligations under the Terms of Use without your consent.

(C) Conditions and the relationship between you and the Veriod platform operator are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any action, controversy or claim between you and the Veriod platform operator arising out of this agreement or related to this agreement must be filed with the court nearest to the seat of the operator.

(D) If any provision of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the other parts of the contract remain in force.
